This is an external program run by Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP). Red Deer Polytechnic`s Red Hot Science youth outreach program is pleased to offer technology, coding, and robotics workshops. These -1.5 hour workshops introduce youth to fun, hands-on tech with real-world applications in industries including agriculture. Red Hot Science is a proud network member of Actua and is thankful to provide these workshops with their support.

– Registration. Minimum 4 children and a maximum of 8 children per program.
– Child supervision. Children ages 8 and under should have an adult with them at all times.

If you take any pictures for social media PRLS would love it if you could share them with us so I can post them on our pages as well!

As a reminder, Red Hot Science is providing guest programming and the children are the responsibility of the host library at all times. As such, Red Hot Science requires adult supervisor from the library (staff or volunteer) be continuously present in the room with the children during all Red Hot Science events.
