Parkland Libraries Council Meeting, where member Library Managers meet to discuss and make decisions on important issues.<\/p>\n

The next Parkland Libraries Council\u00a0meeting\u00a0will be held on\u00a0Monday,<\/b>\u00a0June 1st from 10 am \u2013 12 pm\u00a0<\/b>(with a training on Best Practices in Library Leadership to follow from 1-3pm<\/i>).<\/div>\n

This\u00a0meeting\u00a0will be hybrid (both in-person and virtual). If you are planning to attend this training, either virtually or in-person, please register here:\u00a0https:\/\/parklandab.wufoo.com\/forms\/z1urifxo088q59z\/<\/a><\/div>\n

The deadline for registration will be Monday, May 11, 2026.<\/b>\u00a0After registration has closed, you will receive a calendar invite for the\u00a0PLC<\/span>\u00a0meeting\u00a0and the training if you have indicated you are attending. If you are attending virtually, you will need to click on the\u00a0meeting\u00a0link in the calendar invite on the day of the\u00a0meeting. If you are attending in person, please try and arrive 10-15 minutes before the\u00a0meeting\u00a0starts at 10 am.<\/div>\n

We would also like to ask if any library managers have agenda items to submit, to please do so by sending your topic to libraryservices@prl.ab.ca by May 4, 2026.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n

A\u00a0meeting\u00a0package, including the agenda and background material for each topic, will be sent out by email at least one week before the\u00a0meeting. Please read the package to prepare for the\u00a0meeting. Bring insights and ideas from you and your staff!<\/div>\n
