Public\nLibrary Services Branch (PLSB), in partnership with the Book Publishers\nAssociation of Alberta (BPAA), has launched the Prairie Indigenous eBook\nCollection containing over 200 titles from publishers in Manitoba, Saskatchewan\nand Alberta. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first\nof its kind in Canada, the Prairie Indigenous collection increases access to\nstories by Indigenous authors and writings about Indigenous culture. Discover\nnotable Canadian authors such as Eden Robinson, Dawn Dumont, Richard Van Camp,\nLee Maracle, Will Cardinal, Chelsea Vowel and Katherena Vermette as well as new\nliterary voices on this digital platform. The collection will continue to grow\nwith more titles added each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Prairie\nIndigenous eBook Collection adds to 1,500 other titles in the Alberta eBooks\nCollection, which launched in 2017. These eBooks are available to all Alberta\npublic library patrons through their local library.
