You can access a free premium Canva account via Parkland. Just contact hhalberg@prl.ab.ca to request access.
Canva is a user-friendly, drag-and-drop graphic design tool that makes social media content easy as pie! Use their AI integrations to generate captions, descriptions, edit photos, and more. Browse their templates, graphics, and images to get some inspiration for promoting your next program, the new books you ordered, or your library space.
Parkland has also created a content bank on a trial basis until September 2025. Access these customizable templates via the Q drive Q:\Marketing\Social Media Content Bank. These templates have everything you need to quickly whip up a post that’s relevant to your library. Add your logo, change the colours to match, and you’re good to go! If there is enough use of this resource, we will keep it around!
