At this time, Parkland will not be extending due dates for library materials. We will however be keeping things late fee free. If you would like to extend due dates for your patrons you can do this by setting a “special loan” period.
How to set a Special Loan Period
- Go into your Polaris Leap settings
- Click the Special Loan tab
- Check “apply to all check-outs”
- type in a loan period (how many days before the item is due back)
This will effect all items checked out at that specific workstation until the setting is manually changed.
