Changes to ILL

The new provincial ILL system is now live! Important things to know:

• Staff procedures at the local level will not change with the new system. Polaris will still be used to receive and send items.
• Any items currently out to patrons cannot be renewed and must be returned because those records need to be cleared out of VDX. If patrons still need items they can re-request these titles in Relais.
• The address for the patron search is https://alberta.relaisd2d.com/?LS=ALAP
• TRAC and academic library items are not currently in the system. There is no timeline for when they will be added, but it is in the works.
• A form for patrons to request items they can’t find is at https://www.prl.ab.ca/about-us/alberta-wide-borrowing/interlibrary-loan-request-form
