The Parkland Library Board realizes that for library service to be effective, municipal library boards need to be professional and responsive to community needs. To assist library board with their important work, Parkland has developed a repertoire of learning opportunities designed to expand the knowledge base of library trustees. Whether you are new to the job of being a library trustee or a veteran, there is something for everyone. Training is provided in the following areas:

Training can be provided virtually or in person and to large groups or small. In an environment where volunteer board members have to deal with complex issues and increasing demands, Parkland is there for you offering advice, support, and assistance you can count on!
