Genelle works with US and Canadian government partners to build out their presences across Facebook’s family of apps through best practices and understanding new tools. Before joining Facebook, Genelle managed digital communications and partnerships at the United Nations Foundation and worked at Burness, a public interest communications firm, focusing on global public health and environmental communications. Genelle is a native Baltimorean and a relentless optimist. She graduated from UMBC majoring in Media and Communications Studies with a focus on Intercultural Communications.
Danielle Cyr is on the Politics and Government Outreach team at Facebook, where she works with advocacy organizations and political influencers. Previously, she spent 6 years at an advocacy non-profit called Americans for Prosperity where she focused on community outreach and partnerships. Danielle is a graduate of Georgetown University where she studied Government. She currently resides in the Washington, DC area with her fiancé and new golden retriever puppy, Georgie!
