Alberta government maintains library funding in 2019 budget

On November 8, at the Strathcona County Library, Minister Madu announced that the government will invest $37 million into Alberta’s public libraries in 2019, including $31 million going directly to library boards and $6 million in network support. This funding maintains the 2018 operating grants allocation to library boards.
